We are discontinuing our tours and offering a couple of kayak building workshops through the summer and fall plus Super Sales on our remaining gear…
14 foot Adak single 24 1/2 inch beam and 35 to 45 pounds depending on coating $2,900.00
16 foot Kodiak single 24 1/2 inch beam and 40 to 50 pounds depending on coating $3,200.00
19 1/2 foot Kodiak double 30 inch beam and 65 to 75 pounds depending on coating $4,300.00
19 1/2 foot Aleut 23 1/2 inch beam and 55 to 65 pounds depending on coating $3,900.00
Our coatings consist of Hypalon, Two part urethane, or Armor Coating™ ..
The hypalon coating can be re-coated year after year as needed…
The urethane coating can be colored to simulate the real skin look but can not be recoated…
The Armor Coating™ is pretty much Bomb proof, like having a plastic kayak with the performance of a flexible skin kayak. One of my guides hit the text fabric SO HARD with a straight clawed framing hammer (with the claw) so hard he tore the fabric.
BUT IT DID NOT PUNCTURE THE COATING AMAZING REALLY
The Adak and Kodiak models have the typical upswung bi-fricated bow great for in surf and the Aleut model has the Sharks mouth bow eats the waves in chop and is a smooth ride without the bow being thrown around by the waves…. We also offer the Aleut in a double too… we can also add rudder and hatch to all kayaks for an extra cost.
